The information found on the back of the bottle: The bottle of Trader Joe's Secco Strawberry and Raspberry Rossini: This is something worth breaking into for a picnic, sitting on a deck, having company, having appetizers, or dessert.įor $5.99 it's nothing fancy, but if you already are a wine cooler fan or want something light, fruity and refreshing then this is a solid bottle to reach for. The bubbles will hold for a few days because of the screw top assuming you don't drink the whole thing. It's sweet, fruity, and slightly effervescent. The strawberry is the primary flavor but the tartness of the raspberries comes through. Light, fizzy, fruity, sweet but not too sweet. ![]() If you don't drink much, feel free to blend this with some ice for a delicious drink. It's fruitier than a wine cooler, but not quite as fruity as a freshly made daiquiri. Opening difficulties aside this particular flavor reminded me of what a strawberry daiquiri would taste like if it were made with wine. And yes, I tried this one first because I thought it was the prettiest of the bunch. Other varieties include mango, peach, grapefruit, cranberry, and this bottle of Strawberry Raspberry. This is one of five Secco offerings available. One of the items that grabbed my attention right away was their Secco collection. So, two trips and I don't wish to disclose how much I spent, but I am glad that Trader Joe's wine and liquor selection is reasonably priced. While it might not seem far away, with traffic the closest location to me that sells alcohol is an hour away.
